My independent musical practice includes songwriting, composition, live performance, busking, improvisation, & amateur home recording. I also collaborate with local artists as a co-writer & instrumentalist (guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano, vocals). I have experience teaching music skills, managing bands, leading collective song, & accompanying rituals with liberation-oriented formations & organizations. Reflecting on FAE's 2025 Kol Nidre, for which I coordinated several musical offerings, the Kingston Wire's Steve Ellman wrote:

These live recordings are artifacts from ".me.to.me. to you," a DIY mutual aid show performed by robin herold at her home on April 4, 2025.

Composed on acoustic guitar, piano, and with her voice from 2021-2024, the queer defector rock songs from robin's project-in-process ".me.to.me." convey a trans love story, a story of [be]longing. At their most anxious, the songs articulate mortifying self-address; at their most curious, they celebrate transformation & connectedness.
